With the recommendation of 80 minutes per Bundesliga goal in the dress of VfB Stuttgart, Serhou Guirassy had attracted Borussia Dortmund’s interest, the black and yellow paid 18 million euros for him in summer. While the 28 -year -old attacker in the Bundesliga is clearly behind this goal quota, his achievements in the Champions League know no limits. Guirassy has already set up a BVB record.
In the 3-0 at Sporting in the premier class playoffs, Guirassy scored the lead goal and prepared the 2-0 from Pascal Groß. It was his tenth gate in the ongoing competition, with which he took the lead in Robert Lewandowski’s goal scorer list. The international Guineas can cheer every 66 minutes in the Champions League. In the Bundesliga, BVB is located with eleventh place far behind the expectations. The same applies to Guirassy, who despite almost 1,000 minutes more in the account than scored in the Champions League and was even criticized. Nine times he netted in 18 games, which means a goal every 178 minutes and tenth place in the goal scorer list. As in the premier class, he is also at three assists.

Before Guirassy, ten goals in the Champions League only scored two BVB professionals: Erling Haaland 2020/21 and Robert Lewandowski 2012/13 when they were lost in the final against FC Bayern. Both came to twelve scorer points in the respective seasons, so Guirassy has been the Dortmund with the most goal participations in a Champions League season since Tuesday evening.
Above all, it is the Constance of the attacker that Borussia Dortmund led to the premiere of the premier class despite the weak results in the Bundesliga. The former Stuttgart hit in seven of the nine games. Against Sturm Graz and Real Madrid, where Guirassy stayed without his own goal, he hung up.
