Shortly before the end of the change period, a top transfer at Borussia Dortmund emerged: According to media reports, BVB is faced with an obligation by offensive player Rayan Cherki. But his employer now puts a stop to a change.

BVB: Kovac supposedly gives the green light for Cherki
At Borussia Dortmund, the possible Cherki transfer is said to have been approved by new coach Niko Kovac, as “Sky” reported on Sunday. Kovac had “found the offensive player for quality”. Now sports director Sebastian Kehl is working on an agreement with the player.
BVB had already been associated with Rayan Cherki last summer. In September, however, the Lyon-owned plant then signed a new contract until 2026. Finally, “Bild” had reported that FC Bayern also thinks about an obligation.
For Olympique Lyon, the French U21 international (22 missions, twelve goals) has so far completed 167 competitive games, in which he contributed 22 hits and 34 templates. In 2024/25 he came to 14 direct goal participations in 26 games.
