Will World Cup star Felix Nmecha leave Borussia Dortmund this summer? Several highly decorated experts believe that the BVB professional is a hot transfer candidate in the English Premier League.
Manchester United club legend Gary Neville advises “his” Red Devils to make a quick move on Nmecha. “The more often he plays like he did recently, the more expensive he will become,” said the 51-year-old on “ITV” about Nmecha.
Since West Ham United are said to be asking around 100 million pounds (equivalent to around 115 million euros) for Mateus Fernandes, who is hotly traded at Old Trafford, ManUnited will have to look for alternatives, said Neville. According to him, Nmecha automatically comes into focus.
The 25-year-old “showed an excellent performance” in the DFB team’s 2-1 win against Ivory Coast, enthused Neville. “It looked like he had it all.”
Ian Wright, former Arsenal FC goalscorer, who is also a big Nmecha fan, also echoed the same sentiments. “He can play as a number 8 or a number 10, we see that he can score goals – you can understand why so many clubs are interested in him. He has everything.”
Nmecha open to BVB departure?
Nmecha is “a very good player, a young player, he has a very good right foot, he is athletic, he is very agile on the pitch,” praised former Scottish international Duncan Ferguson, who played in England for Everton FC and Newcastle United. “He can get into the penalty area, he can defend, he has good stature.”
After two World Cup appearances, Nmecha already has one goal and two assists.
According to “Teamtalk”, his management has now started actively looking for potential transfer prospects.
The Nmecha camp is currently just scanning the market, it was said. The former Wolfsburg player is fundamentally open to leaving BVB.
