BVB mocked by opponents after defeat

Last Bundesliga weekend, Bundesliga club Borussia Dortmund embarrassed themselves in their own stadium when they gave up a 2-1 half-time lead in the home game against TSG 1899 Hoffenheim and ultimately lost 3-2. Two days later, the opponent from Kraichgau couldn’t resist making a joke at the expense of BVB head coach Edin Terzic.

On its Instagram channel, which has almost half a million subscribers, TSG Hoffenheim posted a video on Tuesday showing the highlight scenes from the away win at Dortmund’s Signal Iduna Park.

Above all, Maximilian Beier is shown scoring his two goals in Hoffenheim’s victory in the second half. The video is accompanied by dramatic music and an audio track of an interview by BVB head coach Edin Terzic.

He said behind the pictures of the Hoffenheim striker: “There are three questions that I have now asked him in the discussions: What do you want? What do you need? And what can I expect in return?”

BVB is undoubtedly being made fun of with this compilation of Terzic’s original sound and the Hoffenheim goal scenes.

Hoffenheim reacts to the Instagram clip

The Hoffenheim team’s social media department made no secret of its joke and commented on the clip when asked by the “Bild” newspaper. The short video is meant to be funny, humor is an important currency in social networks. However, the Kraichgauer made it clear that the clip should in no way be disrespectful.

To find out how the video was received by BVB sympathizers on Instagram, just take a look at the comment column of the video.

By the way: Edin Terzic’s statements originally came from the BVB documentary “BVB Stories”, in which Terzic spoke about the background to Jadon Sancho’s loan.

The Englishman is still waiting for his first goal at Borussia Dortmund after his return, showed an extremely poor performance against Hoffenheim and was substituted after 75 minutes.
