Borussia legend Jürgen Kohler understands this, but suspects a plan B in the drawer.

Many a fan has secretly wished for the return of Edin Terzic, who had led the team to cup victory in 2021 and was then made technical director. In the opinion of BVB legend Jürgen Kohler, a coach swap would be too early.
“It was also a very difficult year for Rose, it certainly didn’t go very well. Nevertheless, he deserved the chance to start the new season and put in a good performance. It would be wrong to change coaches now,” he said 56-year-old in conversation with “sky“.
Kohler advises BVB (still) to be patient with Rose
According to Kohler, BVB benefits enormously from having the ideal substitute in Terzic in case of an emergency.
“From a coaching perspective, you simply have no pressure and no need, you can start the season with peace of mind,” said the former national player.
Rose deserved another “chance because there were also major problems in the squad due to injuries – it’s difficult for any coach in the world to get a rhythm in there,” Kohler said.
At the same time, he held the trainer responsible. “It is clear that Rose has to perform better,” the “Kokser” clarified and added: “He will definitely come under more pressure. And if it goes like this again at the beginning of the season and the goals are not achieved, then you have it certainly also the possibility to react.”
