Borussia keeper Gregor Kobel, who believes he has a realistic chance of winning the title, has also made a major contribution to the success of the past few weeks.
“When you play at Dortmund, the championship is always an issue. You play football – especially at a club like this – because of course you want to win titles. That’s why the championship title is always on your mind,” said the Swiss in an interview with “Sky”. and added: “Of course there have been times when the score wasn’t that realistic. Now we’ve won eight games and we’re back in action.”
BVB keeper “does not deal with rumors”
With his strong performances this season, the Swiss has already captured one or the other point for the runners-up. He is currently playing “definitely” at his best level, he explained. With his parades, Kobel is said to have drawn the attention of FC Bayern. Interest from other clubs would not interest the 25-year-old.
“I don’t bother with rumors – that doesn’t do me any good. I have to concentrate on the current situation here. We’re in an outstanding situation right now. I’m fully at BVB and I’m looking forward to the next games,” he explained.
