Dortmund (AP) – Borussia Dortmund’s left-back Raphael Guerreiro has welcomed defender Niklas Süle from FC Bayern Munich for the coming summer.
“I’m really looking forward to Niklas Süle strengthening our defense from the summer. With his experience, he’ll certainly do us good. But we’ll still be competitors until the summer,” he told TV station Sport1.
The Portuguese European Football Champion of 2016, who still has a contract with BVB until June 30, 2023, could definitely imagine an extension. “There have only been loose talks, but nothing concrete yet. I would definitely be ready because I feel very comfortable here. I love this club very much,” said the 28-year-old.
“I have an important role here and I’m a regular player. The new contract will of course be important for me, and I won’t sign that many anymore. So everything has to fit,” said Guerreiro.
