Machine Gun Kelly headlined the Coor’s Light Birds Nest series of concerts in Scottsdale, Arizona ahead of the Super Bowl final. The singer (real name Colson Baker) suffered an electric shock on stage, which could have been caused by the sparklers or smoke machines installed there. All he does on social media, however, is how funny he seems to find it that makes his hair stand on end: “Getting electrocuted during a performance was my first time… but the hair is cool!”
It’s unclear if the electrocution was a prank or a real accident, but the singer appeared to continue his performance as normal. “TMZ” reported that no medical assistance was required; Apparently he met up with his fiancée Megan Fox after the show as usual and the two attended a party thrown by Drake.
Machine Gun Kelly: “Dude, your hair is going crazy!”
On the red carpet, MGK confirmed to Entertainment Tonight that the incident was real, explaining, “I was standing on a certain part of the stage every time the sparklers or smoke went off and I felt my whole body twitch. And then I came off stage and everyone was like, ‘Dude, your hair is going crazy’, and I said, ‘What? What happened?'”
