A motorist provided a closure of the N48 between Hoogeveen and Hasselt, after he lost his trailer with a mini-shovel on it.
For unknown reason, the driver of the car lost control, after which the trailer broke. The delivery van ended on the side. It is unknown how the driver is doing.
Due to the accident, the N48 is closed between the Hoogeveen junction and the Hasselt/Dedemsvaart exit. The traffic is diverted in both directions via the N377, N34 and A37. Rijkswaterstaat thinks that the road is free again at 11.30 am.
