The burnt -out play hall in Nienoord is being rebuilt. Not exactly as it was, but larger, more modern and also accessible in bad weather.
He has been at the helm of the estate since February and is enthusiastic about the project. “My predecessor has come up with the plans and I can implement them. It is a very nice addition to the park,” he says.
“The advantage is that we will soon be able to offer children fun playing facilities all year round. The park was always open from spring until the autumn holiday and with this hall we will also offer a winter program with very nice play areas.”
What exactly comes in the building is another question mark. “It is meant to play, but it is still a bit of a surprise what exactly comes in,” says Geert de Boer from Bouwbedrijf frombo. “But it will be incredibly beautiful.”
He does promise: “Of course, Nieno’s theater comes back in, just like the hospitality industry. It will be an internal play hall that certainly deserves a place on Nienoord.” Also Postma doesn’t want to say anything: “At least know that it is certainly suitable for the target group of 0 to 12 years to play and romp there.” He also wants to highlight a tip of the veil: there will be a ball box.
