The English club brings its fans (and not only) to Turf Moor with a viewer: the experience will include commentary and environmental audio

Burnley makes a jump into the future: the club will broadcast a virtual reality game in the next few days. The example gave it the Paris Saint-Germain, which last year broadcast its Ligue 1 in 3D matches in the USA. The appointment is set for Saturday 9 August at 4 pm: the fans of the newly promoted team in the Premier League will be able to follow the match scheduled at Turf Moor wherever they are, with the simple use of a Meta Quest visor and the Premier League Player app. The goal of the club is to “bring the energy of the stadium to homes around the world”: the experience will in fact include both the live commentary of the event and the environmental audio of a system of more than 20 thousand places.

The president of the company Alan Pace said: “This initiative reflects our innovative approach to the interaction with the fans and our commitment to the public all over the world. Our mission is to offer a very high level experience to the fans, who with the entry into the world of virtual reality will be able to feel closer to the game than ever”. The idea was born from a collaboration with Rezzil, an expert company in the sector. “It is a new way of living football, like having a place in the stands,” added co-founder Andy Etches.
