Premier League relegated Burnley FC have signed Scott Twine from third division side Milton Keynes Dons. The attacking midfielder has signed a contract until 2026, but the Clarets have not given any information on the transfer terms.

Twine comes with a recommendation of 33 goals in 44 games and the award of League One Player of the Season 2021/22. For Burnley, the 22-year-old right foot is the first new signing for the coming season, compared to seven departures and the resulting proceeds of 11.5 million euros.
