Burglaries in youth rooms in Izegem

After an earlier failed burglary attempt on September 2, burglars did get into the scouts room in the Nederweg in Izegem. The perpetrators took a small amount of money with them.

The chiro van Emelgem also received unwanted visitors in the night from Tuesday to Wednesday. Burglars forced the entrance door of the room and made off with an old laptop.

Secure properly

The police do not want to talk about a burglary plague, but advise youth movements and other associations to properly secure the access doors to their premises with reliable locks.
