Hamburg (AP) – National player Nico Schlotterbeck has denied reports that an agreement has already been reached on a move to Bundesliga club Borussia Dortmund.
“I read that, but I can say that nothing will happen until the end of the season,” said the 22-year-old after his SC Freiburg reached the DFB Cup final on Sky. “I said I’ll make my decision after the season, that hasn’t changed.”
The “Bild” newspaper had previously reported that the central defender had promised BVB a transfer. Schlotterbeck said after the 3-1 win at Hamburger SV that he would sit down with those responsible at SC Freiburg. “Now I enjoy the evening and see what I get the boys to drink.”
