After four Bundesliga victories in a row, SC Freiburg missed another three, but expanded its unbeaten series: The team of coach Julian Schuster did not get out of a goalless draw on matchday 24 at FC Augsburg and stayed behind Mainz 05. The Fuggerstädter meanwhile missed keeping up with the upper half of the table.
In the duel of two defensive in top form, the Breisgauers presented themselves amazingly clumsy at the goalless draw. The Augsburgers around their goalkeeper Finn Dahmen, who set up a club record with 433 minutes without conceding and at the same time improved, have also been unbeaten for eight games.
