And suddenly Bielefeld made the perfect move: Attacker Krüger broke the goalless ban on Arminen, who hadn’t scored since February 19th. Cross from Alessandro Schöpf, header extension from Janni Serra – and Krüger successfully lurked at the second post.
Ortega has yet to intervene
The game got a bit wilder afterwards, with Stuttgart in particular creating more chances. Tomás missed a big shot from close range because he didn’t hit the ball properly (67′).
And in the end Stefan Ortega also came to the rescue – Pascal Stenzel’s volley was brilliantly parried by the Bielefeld goalkeeper (77′), as was Konstantinos Mavropanos’ header (78′).
Because Stuttgart neglected some of their chances and Bielefeld only managed to get their own shot on goal after the equaliser, the draw was ultimately rather flattering for DSC.

Kalajdžić snatches a stretcher from paramedics
There was still a moment of shock for Bielefeld’s Fabian Klos (90 + 3). After colliding in the head with teammate Alessandro Schöpf, the DSC attacker remained on the ground and had to be taken off the field on a stretcher.
Stuttgart’s goalscorer Kalajdžić ensured the fair play gesture of the game: He snatched a stretcher from the approaching paramedics and sprinted off himself. When he arrived, however, another medical team had already reached Klos with a stretcher, Schöpf didn’t need one.
“We don’t have any specific information yet, our thoughts are with him and we hope it’s not as bad as it seemed.”said DSC trainer Kramer about the Klos shock moment.

VfB Stuttgart already hosts Borussia Dortmund on Friday evening (8.30 p.m.), while Arminen will travel to VfL Wolfsburg (3.30 p.m.), who are also threatened with relegation, on Saturday.
