Bundesliga | Farewell from Germany: Austrian weaver to Piraeus

After 14 years in Germany, the Austrian handball player Robert Weber is moving from the Lower Saxony second division club HSG Nordhorn-Lingen to the Greek champions Olympiakos Piraeus, the Austrian handball association announced.

The 36-year-old right winger had played in Germany for almost a decade and a half, became Bundesliga top scorer in the 2014/15 season and won the DHB Cup with SC Magdeburg in 2016. After three years at Nordhorn-Lingen, he now joins the Greek champions after announcing his departure from Lower Saxony in April.
