Longer outages cannot be ruled out
Last Saturday he had to be substituted in the 63rd minute of the 3-2 draw at TSG Hoffenheim. Should Haaland not be available to the black and yellow for several games, it would be a major setback in the title race with leaders Bayern Munich, who are six points ahead of Borussia.
The two-week break in the league puts Haaland in the cards, but a longer absence does not seem to be out of the question. He could therefore miss the important games against Bayer Leverkusen and Union Berlin, possibly also the round of 16 playoffs in the Europa League against Glasgow Rangers (February 17 and 24).
Hobbled off the pitch
