The Berlin derby kicks off at 3:30 p.m. on Saturday, the same time as the Bundesliga does – the DFL has presented the exact time plan for the first few days of the game.
The Berlin derby in the Bundesliga between 1. FC Union and Hertha BSC takes place on Saturday afternoon. At 3.30 p.m., both clubs will start the 60th Bundesliga season in the An der Alten Försterei stadium, as the German Football League (DFL) announced on Friday.
Seven matchdays scheduled on time
A week later, Hertha hosts Eintracht Frankfurt for their first home game in the Olympic Stadium, also in the afternoon. Union has to play at FSV Mainz a day later (3:30 p.m.). The DFL has scheduled the first seven match days until mid-September.
The first half of the Bundesliga season will pause after matchday 15 because of the World Cup (November 21 to December 18). After the winter break, it will continue on January 20, 2023. The season then ends on 27./28. May.
