Joost Vullings, who has been added to the presenter team of Buitenhof, says he has a good friend who votes for the PVV. “It is not a conspiracy thinker and he is smart,” said the NPO star.
The Nieuwe Buitenhof star Joost Vullings regularly has to deal with people who blame him not to be critical enough about Geert Wilders, he says in the Fidelity. “When I say in our podcast that Wilders has done something strategically clever, many people see it as approval. I mean that he has done that professionally.”
Evil
It doesn’t matter if he agrees, says Joost. “People who see him as evil cannot understand that. I always want to keep thinking: why do people vote for him? What are other parties not doing well?”
A friend of his votes PVV, he continues. “It is not a conspiracy thinker, he is smart, lives in Amsterdam-New West. I understand him. I want to understand him. I don’t let my neighborhood drive away, he says.”
Protest voice
What does Joost think of such a comment? “A very understandable emotion. But then I say:” Look how little Wilders gets done. ” Then he says: “I don’t care, because she, the newcomers, have to adapt to the PVV until the other parties have to do something about immigration.”
He concludes: “So a conscious protest voice.”
