Around 11:15 am the fire brigade was notified of a possible gas leak in Cityhouse Den Helder, a building where several companies are located. The area around the building is therefore closed off because of a suspicious air. The six attendees were evacuated as a precaution and the fire brigade has been present with several cars to investigate the strange air.
After network administrator Liander was present, the fire brigade left again. They have come to the conclusion that it was not a gas leak. “The malfunction has been resolved. It turned out not to be a gas smell, but a strange odor smell that has been released during isolation work,” said a Liander spokesperson.
