Despite competition from abroad
Kastriot Imeri, who is also traded at Eintracht Frankfurt, is moving from Servette FC to BSC Young Boys in Switzerland. According to the “View” a transfer fee of the equivalent of around 3.6 million euros (plus bonuses) flows, which is equivalent to the most expensive transfer within the Super League. Most recently, FC Brugge, FC Basel, Besiktas and Hellas Verona are said to have courted the 22-year-old midfielder.
“We are very pleased that Kastriot Imeri has chosen YB. At first we had to assume that the transfer wouldn’t be realistic because several clubs from abroad were trying to get him. But Kastriot gave us clear signs that he wants to come to YB. We are also satisfied that we found a fair solution with Servette,” said YB sports director Christoph Spycher. Imeri, the second most valuable professional in Switzerland, signed a contract until 2026.
