Brussels MP is the first politician in Europe to convert his salary into bitcoin: “I don’t want our country to miss the train completely”

Brussels MP Christophe De Beukelaer (CDH) will convert his entire salary into bitcoin before 2022. He himself announced this on Twitter. De Beukelaer is therefore the first politician in Europe to do so. “I don’t want our country to wake up in 10 years and have completely missed the train. We are really lagging behind American and Asian countries,” he says.
