Scare moment for Manchester United’s Bruno Fernandes. The Portuguese was involved in a car accident on Monday morning, luckily none of the people involved were seriously injured. This was first reported by the PA news agency.

Fernandes was reportedly driving his Porsche Panamera when he collided with a driver of a Volkswagen, which caused the airbag to deploy. Fernandes is said not to have been alone in the car. All inmates got away with a fright.

The midfielder is due to take part in United’s training session in the afternoon and will also be available for Tuesday’s Premier League game at Liverpool FC (from 9 p.m. in the t-online live ticker).

Fernandes has scored nine goals for the Red Devils this season in 30 league games.
