‘Bruh’ voted children’s word of the year: ‘Children find it funny that parents don’t understand’

The word ‘bruh’ has been voted Children’s Word of the Year 2024. The election is held annually by the NOS Youth Journal. About 130,000 people voted in the election. It is the first time that the NOS Jeugdjournaal organized this election. Other contenders included the words bro, sigma, slay, bruh, glamour, ohio, rizzler and skibidi.
