These are going to be busy times for the Bruges police. Not only does The Warmest Week start this week, but they also expect 1,500 Turkish football supporters for the match between Cercle Brugge and Başakşehir. To avoid incidents, the police want to keep the two flows separate. For example, Turkish supporters do not leave the city center for the stadium as usual.

“Most supporters come from their own country and then we will apply the combined scheme. This means that those supporters immediately go to the stadium and then return from the stadium by bus,” says Lien Depoorter, spokesperson for the Bruges police.
