Bruce Springsteen recovering from stomach ulcer. The Boss cancels all shows this year

Bruce Springsteen is moving all performances with The E Street Band that were planned for this year to 2024. The 74-year-old American singer’s team announced this on Instagram on Wednesday. The reason is that Springsteen has to recover from a stomach ulcer.

“Bruce Springsteen has been recovering well from a stomach ulcer in recent weeks and will continue treatment for the rest of the year on doctor’s advice,” the team reports. “With this in mind and out of an abundance of caution, all remaining 2023 tour dates for ‘Bruce Springsteen & The E Street Band’ are postponed until 2024.”

The new dates of all postponed 2023 shows will be announced next week. The performances will take place at the same locations as previously planned. People who cannot attend the new dates have thirty days after the announcement of the new dates to request a refund.

“Thank you to all my friends and fans for your well wishes, encouragement and support,” the rock star said in a response. “I am on the mend and can’t wait to see you again next year.”
