Bruce Springsteen announces “Tracks II: The Lost Albums” with 83 unpublished songs – including a new single “Rain in the River”

Insight into the lost albums – the boss tells

In the official trailer for the box, Springsteen speaks about the history of the so -called “Lost Albums”. The collection appears as a limited 9-LP box and as a 7-CD set and is also available digitally. At the same time, there is the selection LP “Lost and Found: Selections From The Lost Albums” with 20 tracks, available as a double LP and single CD.

7 studio albums, 83 songs – 35 years of music history

“Tracks II: The Lost Albums” shows Bruce Springsteen’s artistic development, starting with the LO-FI recordings of the “La Garage Sessions ’83”, which are located in terms of stylistics between “Nebraska” and “Born in the USA”, right up to the synthligent sound landscapes of the “Streets of Philadelphia Sessions”.

Springsteen statement:

“All these LPs are fully developed albums – some almost finished – which have never been released. Over the years I have repeatedly listened to them or played friends. Now the time has come to share them with you. I hope you like them.”

“Faithless” contains songs for a film that was never shot. “Somewhere North of Nashville” offers country arrangements with pedal Steel. “Inyo” travels to Grenzland stories. “Twilight Hours” offers orchestral sounds in the style of classic film noirs from the 1950s.
