Bruce Springsteen dives into old soul songs for new album | show

Bruce Springsteen (73) will release a new album in November. The Boss dives into old soul songs by The Commodores, Four Tops and The Temptations, among others; he did not write the material himself. This afternoon he released the first single, Do I love you (indeed I do).

Bruce Springsteen released his latest studio album in 2020, letter to you. on Only the strong survive (a song by Jerry Butler) the rocker plays his versions of fifteen soul classics, especially lesser-known songs.

It is the first time that Springsteen has released a soul album, while this music style has heavily influenced him as a musician. Next year, the singer will go on tour for the first time since 2016. On May 25 and 27 he will be in the Johan Cruijff Arena, on June 11 at the Megaland site in Landgraaf.
