Bruce Springsteen and The Killers: They played these three songs together on stage in New York

Bruce Springsteen has just announced a new album – Only the Strong Survive, a record of covers of blues classics, is due out in November. But the US rock musician also remains active outside of his own projects: in New York he has now been seen on stage with the indie rockers The Killers.

Bruce Springsteen and the Killers had already worked together in the studio in 2021: With the title “Dustland” they released a reworked version of the Killers song originally titled “A Dustland Fairytale”. Springsteen provides vocals on the second verse, chorus and bridge, supporting Killers frontman Brandon Flowers.

In New York’s Madison Square Garden, The Killers and Springsteen played the new version of “Dustland” with the feature parts from “Boss” live for the first time. They also performed two other Springsteen classics, “Born To Run” and “Badlands”.
