contract expired
As expected, Inter Milan have extended the expiring contract of midfielder Marcelo Brozovic. As announced by the Nerazzurri, the 29-year-old Croatian has committed himself to the club until 2026. With a market value of 40 million euros, the runner-up was previously one of the five most valuable players whose contracts end on June 30th.

The extra time is extremely important for Inter – because Brozovic is also for the game of the Italian champions. The 70-time national player is in the system of Simone Inzaghi, and also before that under Antonio Conte, both the link between offensive and defensive and thus a stabilizer, but also the ordering hand in the game structure. Brozovic has been absent from Inter four times this season, winning only the Coppa Italia round of 16 against newly promoted Serie A FC Empoli 3-2 after extra time.
