Brother fears for Silvana’s life: “She would never leave her children behind”

Randy Heber (32), the brother of the missing Silvana from Hoogeloon, fears for his sister’s life. “She left without her children. They are number one for her. That is why I am very concerned.” Silvana’s partner (41) has been arrested for possible involvement in the case.

Randy also finds the fact that she has been missing for two days now worrying. Her two children are everything to her. I assume the worst.” The police are also concerned about Silvana’s well-being.

Randy himself heard from the police on Saturday evening that his sister was missing. “They called me at home, asking if I knew anything about it. But I had no idea, it caught me by surprise.” He himself last spoke to his sister a few weeks ago. Her children (from a previous relationship) have now been taken to a safe place, says Randy.

“She’s a sweet, spontaneous woman.”

On Sunday, the search was on for Silvana all day long. He describes her as a ‘sweet, spontaneous woman’. She had her own life in Brabant, he himself lives in Limburg, where Silvana originally comes from.

“I just don’t know what to think anymore.”

According to Randy, she has been in a relationship with her partner for about three years now, with whom she lives in Hoogeloon. He thought she was happy with him. “I sometimes saw him at birthday parties, but now I don’t know what to think at all.”

The police searched a forest area on Hoogcasterseweg in Hoogeloon for Silvana all day on Sunday. “There are fears for her well-being. We do not rule out that she has become the victim of a crime,” the police said. The search continues on Monday.
