The most powerful man in the world against the richest man in the world. The feud between President Donald Trump and ‘First Buddy’ Elon Musk has risen high in recent days.
The fight started after Musk had criticized Trumps on social media on Trumps budget plans, which increase the national debt. That was in bad earth with the president, who then stated on Thursday that Musk is angry because he is no longer in the spotlight of power.
Musk said goodbye last week as a special government officer, after his maximum period of 130 days had expired. After Trump’s response it went from bad to worse, where Musk called for the deposition of Trump and the latter threatened to delete all government contracts of Musks companies.
Conversation of the day
The exploded relationship between Trump and Musk is therefore the conversation of the day in America. News media are not pronounced about the verbal mat party. Dagblad The Washington Post speaks of an ‘epic break’ and the business newspaper The Wall Street Journal notes that the ‘imploded relationship’ is at stake a lot for both men. News channel CNN reports that allies are trying to calm the minds and make the men make peace.
‘Quarrel Trump and Musk could be provided’
Above all, the argument corrupts the US. Last week Trump and Musk complimented each other in the Oval Office. Now they throw mud with bins. For example, Musk pointed to alleged secrets that would be about the president in the Epstein files, the classified file on the businessman who ran a sex network with minor girls for the powerful of the earth. “The real reason why the Epstein files were not made completely public? DJT (Donald J. Trump) is in it. Have a nice day, Donald.”
It is grain on the mill of Americans who the ‘Deep State’ and rich friends of abuse billionaire Jeffrey Epstein, who also maintained contacts with Trump, do not trust for a cent.
Trump, in turn, had announced that Musk criticizes him about the budget because the subsidy for electric cars is being canceled. In fact, the Tesla boss has always spoken against such subsidies.
The argument between the two raises the question of what the real intention of Musks approach to fellow businessman Trump was. The course of Tesla has plummeted further due to the intention to delete subsidies for E-cars.
Great Clash between Trump and Musk: ‘SpaceX stops spacecraft that people take to and from ISS’
However, Musk announced on Thursday to reduce participation in the ISS program of SpaceX, which can be seen as a revenge action. It transfers Trumps ambitions in space and probably it will not stop with these kinds of actions by Musk against the US government.
The former Twitter, X, of which Trump was a big fan during his first term, can now be used against the president under the leadership of Musk. For some time there has been criticism of the algorithm of the social media platform: Musk could put that to his own hands. Although Musk has always stated freedom of expression, the big question of whether Trump is not – is thrown off the platform again.

New political party
Musk also alludes to setting up a new party, in addition to those of the Democrats and Republicans. No revolutionary idea, for example, the Libertarians and the Greens are still participating in American politics, but the history shows that such relatively small movements can be of great influence within the highly distributed United States where every voice can count.
A possible reassurance for Trump is that the 53-year-old Musk cannot in any case be a candidate for the presidency. That is not allowed according to the American constitution, because he was born in South Africa.

Supporting an independent candidate for the 2028 race could have far -reaching consequences for the Republicans. Independent candidates, such as the conservative Ross Perot in 1992 – as a result of which Democrat Bill Clinton took the win against George HW Bush – crucial votes can go away.
One thing is certain: the last word between Trump and Musk has not sounded yet. In the meantime, Musk seems to be open to a ‘ceasefire’ with Trump. He responded to a call from another billionaire, Bill Ackman, to bury the battle ax in the interest of the US. “Together we are stronger than separate,” Ackman tweeted. “You are not wrong,” Musk responded. Whether Trump is thinking about it that way.
