Broken hearts, deception and bizarre confrontations: MTV draws the plug from show that changed internet dating forever and made a house ‘catfish’

After thirteen years, the once very popular dating program Catfish was almost silently taken off the tube. MTV announced on Tuesday that no new episodes are being produced anymore, although the makers are given the freedom to offer the format to other channels. With that there is hope for a restart elsewhere.
