Difficult, but three points for Ajax. The Amsterdam team defeated Heracles Almelo in the east of the country, 2-4. Brain Brobbey scored twice and Steven Berghuis and Kristian Hlynsson scored the other goals for Ajax.
Without Steven Bergwijn and Jordan Henderson, Ajax played on the artificial grass field in Almelo. The start seemed quite good, as John van ‘t Schip’s team showed. The Amsterdam team’s top scorer handled a beautiful pass from Benjamin Tahirovic excellently and then finished as only he can. With his back to the goal, he turned away and shot the ball in hard.
Big lead
After a few seconds in the second half, Ajax could thank its goalie Diant Ramaj that Thomas Bruns did not give the Almelo team the lead. The long-acclaimed goalkeeper made an excellent save from the Heraclied’s effort. Then Ajax took over the initiative. Hlynsson

After nineteen games, John van ‘t Schip’s men have the same number of points as AZ. The Alkmaarders will visit SC Heerenveen tomorrow afternoon. Ajax itself, as number five, will receive leader PSV in the Johan Cruijff Arena next weekend.
