Britt Bongaerts transfers to Germany | 1Limburg

Volleyball player Britt Bongaerts from Beegden will play for Allianz MTV Stuttgart next season.

Bongaerts signs a contract for one year in Germany. The Limburger played last season in Italy with Perugia.

Bundesliga
It is not the first time that Bongaerts will play in the German Bundesliga. She previously played for Ladies in Black from Aachen, USC Münster and SSC Palmberg Schwerin. Bongaerts then played in Poland at LKS Commercecon Lódz, before coming to Italy last year. Stuttgart is an absolute top club in the German volleyball league. Last season Stuttgart became national champion and they won the national cup.

Extend line
The game distributor is happy with her move and is looking forward to playing in Germany again: “I know Stuttgart is a very professional club with good organization so I can’t wait to meet everyone and wear the blue shirt next season (the Stuttgart club ed.). I hope we can continue the line from last season, I can’t wait!”

Nations League
At the moment, Bongaerts’ focus is on the Dutch team. The Orange squad will play in the Nations League against China, Bulgaria, Italy and Serbia next week. The matches will be played in Ankara, Turkey. Bongaerts had to leave the training camp of the Dutch team earlier this week with flu symptoms. National coach Avital Selinger expected Bongaerts to be able to fly to Turkey last Tuesday.
