In the duel at the top of the table, a solid Brescia is more convincing than the surprising Napoli, led by Bilan and Burnell: 15 points for both. Virtus also remains unbeaten in the championship, overwhelming Trento with five players in double figures: the best is Cordinier with 16 points. Scafati achieves its first success of the season thanks to a great performance from David Logan (29 points). A splendid Varese-Tortona is decided in the final with the decisive basket by Weems (22 points).

Brescia-Napoli 80-71

Great performance from Germani, who convinces at PalaLeonessa and continues her journey with full points. Balanced start to the match, with Brescia making its presence felt on the Bilan-Della Valle axis and Napoli putting on a good team performance. Back and forth in the second quarter: GeVi finds the +7 advantage with Pullen (29-36), but Germani replies with Petrucelli, who collects fundamental points in the area and upon returning to the locker rooms the hosts lead by 41 -38. The match continues point by point, until in the last fraction Magro’s men increase in intensity on both sides of the pitch, placing the push which is worth +8 (65-57). Naples makes a late leap, but pays for defensive lapses and gives Burnell the points under the basket to close out the game.

TRENTO-VIRTUS 75-90

After the excellent performance against Monaco in the Euroleague, Luca Banchi’s team confirms itself again tonight at the Il T Quotidiano Arena, scoring three out of three in the championship. Virtus had a burning start, already leading with a double-digit advantage halfway through the first quarter (3-14), led by Jordan Mickey. The match seems to have already been resolved, but instead comes the proud response from behind the arc from Ellis and Grazulis, with Trento coming back into contact. At the end of the first half, the scoreboard is balanced: 40-41. In the second part of the game Abass takes the lead and with a run of 13-0 (43-54) Virtus runs away. Dolomiti Energia tries to hang on to the match by relying above all on Biligha, but Bologna easily maintains their distance and with Cacok’s dunk puts the final end to the match.

The first two points arrive within the friendly walls of the PalaMangano for the Campanians, who defeat a never tamed Estra. Departure at a high pace: Scafati tries to attack, but Varnado is very hot at the start: 10 points in the first 10′ for the winger from Pistoia. Pinkins then takes care of making Givova fly: his signature is the partial of 9-0 (30-19) for the home team. Upon returning to the locker room, Sacripanti’s team easily leads with a score of 43-30. In the second half, Estra clung to the game and managed to close the deficit, but had to deal with a David Logan in a state of grace: 29 points at the end of the match for him, including the triple that definitively closed the proceedings.

Spectacular match at the Itelyum Arena, where Ramondino’s team narrowly beats the hosts. The match started in high gear, with Tortona constantly responding to the exploits of the Hanlan-Brown duo from Varese (9 points for both in the first quarter). We continue point by point also in the second half, which ends with Derthona’s minimal advantage: 40-41. In the second half, Openjobmetis raises the percentages from the arc and puts the arrow, finding the advantage of +7 (51-44): the guests’ immediate response from Kyle Weems, who scores the counter-overtake. The game knows no master: with 20” left to go it’s 77-77. Weems takes care of it again, decisive throughout the match, who with a champion triple gives the victory to Tortona.
