In the French mountain village of Haut-Vernet, investigators are busy with new excavations. The investigation into little Émile has led gendarmes to a home a few hundred meters from the home of the missing toddler’s grandparents. Researchers are currently using a jackhammer to demolish a large concrete slab laid by a construction company this summer, French channel ‘BFMTV’ reports.
