Suspect
The suspect was arrested Tuesday morning. It concerns a 19-year-old man from Sittard. He is suspected of involvement in Durlinger’s death. The suspect is in restrictions and may only have contact with his lawyer. Therefore, the police are not making any further announcements about the arrest.

Xavier Durlinger was last seen on Wednesday, May 11. He had an appointment that evening with someone. The television program Opsporing Verzocht focused on the case and showed images from a surveillance camera. After that broadcast, the police received 15 tips. It is not yet known whether any of these tips led to the suspect’s arrest.
