Breakthrough after 25 years: human remains found in the car of a missing Antwerp resident in Willemdok

During the investigation into the car that was found on Thursday in the Willemdok on the Eilandje in Antwerp, human remains were found on Friday. Kristof Aerts, spokesperson for the Antwerp public prosecutor’s office, confirms this. During a diving exercise by the fire brigade, a car was found on the bottom of the dock. The vehicle appears to be linked to a man who has been missing for more than 25 years.
