Dallas Mavericks star player Luka Doncic, one of the American Basketball League (NBA) teams, will be away from the fields for a while due to his injury.
In the statement made by the club, it was stated that the Slovenian player, who had undergone a health check, had a difficulty in his left calf and started his treatment.
It was also emphasized that the return date of Doncic to the field is not yet certain and the developments in his treatment will be shared.
Reaching their only NBA championship in 2011, the Dallas Mavericks will play their first game with the Utah Jazz on April 16 in the play-off tour.
The 23-year-old player, who was injured in the last game of the regular season between the Dallas Mavericks and the San Antonio Spurs, played a leading role in keeping his team to the play-offs with an average of 28.4 points, 9.1 rebounds and 8.7 assists this season.
