Brazil’s Supreme Court has convicted former President Fernando Collor de Mello of corruption and money laundering. The case revolved around 30 million Brazilian real (about 5.6 million euros) in bribes that Collor de Mello, as a senator, would have received from a subsidiary of oil company Petrobas.
