Brazilian influencer Derleya Alves has died at the age of 26. The issue was reported by, among others, a British newspaper Daily Mail.
According to the Daily Mail, Alves had undergone breast surgery on February 20. He started suffering from severe stomach pains right after the surgery. As Alves’ health deteriorated, she underwent numerous tests and two more surgeries, including the repair of her intestines and the removal of one ovary.

Alves died of complications from cosmetic surgery eight days after the surgery on February 28 at the Marabá Municipal Hospital in northern Brazil.
The medical staff discovered that Alves had a possible congenital intestinal abnormality that could have affected the severity of his condition.
According to the Daily Mail, medical malpractice is not suspected in the case so far. The authorities are investigating the case.
