Dorival Junior was appointed as the coach of the Brazilian National Football Team. In the statement made by the Brazilian Football Federation, it was stated that an agreement was reached with 61-year-old Dorival Junior to replace Fernando Diniz, who served as interim coach of the team.
The Brazilian coach, who worked in teams such as Atletico Mineiro, Athletico Paranaense, Santos, Cruzeiro, Coritiba, Internacional, Vasco da Gama, Fluminense and Palmeiras in his country, last coached Sao Paulo last year.
