The trouser manufacturer Brax has completed the past financial year with sales record.
Leineweber GmbH & Co. KG achieved the highest sales in the company’s history in 2024, the Herford company behind Brax announced on Thursday. The proceeds amounted to 361 million euros. In the previous year comparison and adjusted for the turnover of the Aschaffenburg clothing provider Fuchs Schmitt, which was taken over in 2024, the company had a sales increase of 6.5 percent. 66 percent of the income was generated in the domestic market, the remaining 34 percent abroad.
“With our Making Success Happen Strategy, we have set and achieved ambitious goals,” says Marc Freyberg, Managing Director of Marketing & Sales at Brax. “All brands, all markets and all channels contributed to this great success.”
Brax was able to grow by around ten percent in the previous year with its own stores and the e-commerce business.
For 2025, the company plans to invest in a new top concept. From February, 240 new areas for this area will be implemented. The majority of this new concept are used with 181 locations in Germany.
Leineweber employs around 1,100 people: inside, 639 in Herford.
