Bram Moszkowicz and Guido den Aantrekker cannot rejoice at the news that Soundos El Ahmadi is doing so well as a Dutchman with our southern neighbors. “Never laughed about it.”

Comedian Soundos El Ahmadi made a false start in our country — her stand-ups at De Wereld Draait Door at the start of her career were terribly bad — but in Belgium they have really embraced her over the past year. That is why she is also given an important role in the new Dutch-Belgian merger show Got Talent.

Coming out

The entire cast of Got Talent was presented to the press yesterday and also Show news was there. After the item, presenter Dyantha Brooks shouts: “We are saying to each other here: ‘How nice is Soundos!’”

Royalty fan Sandra Schuurhof: “Yes, very nice!”

Telegraaf reporter Jordi Versteegden: “Yes, that is a kind of coming out of you, how you told it. Like: I didn’t think so at first?”

Never laughed

Dyantha is completely lyrical. “No, Soundos is just someone who has been around the world for a long time, but she is getting better at settling into her own Soundos and she is showing more and more of herself. How nice?”

Story boss Guido den Aantrekker appears not to be enthusiastic at all. “People also laughed at her for the first time. That is also unique for her. Well, I have never really been able to laugh at her before.”

Gauge

Dyantha finds Guido’s opinion irrelevant. “But you’re not a good indicator, are you?”

Guido surprised: “No? What do you mean?”

Bram Moszkowicz joins in with Guido: “I have to tell you: neither do I.”

Sandra pissed: “Yes, you are not a good indicator!”

Bram: “Ah, that’s it.”

To pronounce

Why does Guido think Soundos is so popular in Belgium? “The Dutch are doing very well there, because the Dutch dare to speak out.”

Dyantha: “Why can’t we as Dutch people say: ‘How wonderful that Soundos is also doing so well in Belgium, we are proud of that’?”

Guido: “But I didn’t say that. I just said that I have never laughed at her.”

Bram sharply: “That’s something different.”

Not unique

Dyantha thinks that Bram and Guido should be more positive. “I noticed that you didn’t say that, so I’m wondering: why can’t we say that? Isn’t it really cool that Dutch presenters are doing well?”

Guido concludes: “That’s also very cool, but there are many more. She is of course not unique in that respect.”
