The police started a large search on Thursday evening around ten o’clock for a boy in the outskirts on the Luissel in Boxtel. A farmer saw the boy standing in a corn field, but when he looked around the boy was gone. A drone team and police dogs are used for the search.
De Boer was busy chopping corn on his tractor when he saw a boy of about seven to eight years old in the dark in the corn field. The farmer wanted to turn his tractor around, but when he looked again the boy was gone. He called in the police.
Ten hectare
In a Burgernet report, people were asked to look for the boy in a black shirt and salmon pink jogging pants. The cornfield would be about ten hectares. The police therefore praised a search.
According to a police spokesperson, no child has been given up in the area. The police are looking for the boy around eleven with a drone team and police dogs. There are also several police cars present.
