A boy of sixteen was mistreated during carnival in Tilburg. That happened on Friday shortly before midnight at the Van Delfthof. The boy was kicked down and beaten by a group of boys when an alley was walked out.
The police have started an investigation into the abuse. The boy was kicked from behind and went to the ground. A declaration was made. “There may be camera images. If there are, they will also be used in the investigation,” said a police spokesperson.
The perpetrators were on the small roundabout at the entrance of parking garage Pieter Vreedeplein on the Telegraafstraat in the center of Tilburg. The boy who was later mistreated was surrounded on the Van Delfthof, an alley that borders on Telegraafstraat.
After the mistreatment, the perpetrators ran away in a still unknown direction.
Concussion
A call on the mistreatment is by an acquaintance of the victim on Facebook placed.
The boy was investigated in the hospital, but after a scan there was no question of fractures or bleeding. He had a thick eye, a thick lip and concussion.
