A 15-year-old boy was injured in a shooting in Oss on Saturday evening. This happened around ten o’clock. The victim was taken to a hospital in an ambulance. Due to the seriousness of the situation, an air ambulance landed for medical assistance. The perpetrator ran away.
Police told a 112 correspondent that the shooting took place on Schadewijkstraat, near a dog walking field. The victim then allegedly staggered towards the Jumbo supermarket on Kardinaal De Jongstraat further away to seek help. He was picked up there by ambulance personnel.

The dog park was cordoned off. There the police searched for bullet casings. There was a cone on the road, probably a shell casing was found there.
The fire brigade came with a so-called light container, so that trace investigations could be carried out in the dark.
