Boxtel weapon stolen from town hall facade in broad daylight

The coat of arms that hangs from Boxtel town hall was stolen from the facade on Monday in broad daylight. Observant local police officers quickly spotted a suspect. After some time posting at his house, they grabbed him. He had hidden the coat of arms at home.

You can’t deny the thief some guts. Boxtel’s coat of arms hangs at the main entrance of the town hall. To get to it, the man used two ladders. They were still neatly against the wall when police officers called up were notified of the theft.
